& The Winner Is.....

First, I want to thank all of you for your entries! They were each so inspiring & well thought out, I loved them all. That being said, it was extremely difficult for me to pick out a winner.
The dream autumn outfit that I loved the most was by Callie, I highly recommend going here to check it out!
Not only does it include leopard, which I'm obsessed with for F/W 09, but gorgeous suede wedges & some amazing accessories, + a little Chanel which always makes a girl happy.
I hope everyone is having a happy Tuesday! I'll be back to regular posting soon after I finish taking my 4 exams this week.
xx

It's Glow Time, Baby!

I've been ultra-inspired lately by gorgeous skin. I love the look of a glowy complexion; I think it's the perfect thing to make you feel happy & chic. With winter approaching many cities in the U.S., including mine, it'll be easy for our skin to take a beating; flakiness, dryness, dullness...désastre! I came across this photo of Olivia Palermo & immediately immersed myself deep in Sephora to find my new weapon of choice to add to my makeup bag.

To get steal her pretty skin, I found a mini palette by Benefit that contains all of the goods to make you look like a goddess this season for a small price.

*Don't forget to enter my surprise giveaway on the previous post. Only one more week ' til the winner is announced... I'm excited!!*

Ribbon-Wrapped Surprise Goodies

I'm holding my first giveaway!!!
I'll be doing giveaways twice a year, once in the fall & once in the spring.
Here's what's going down:
I'm hand-picking a care package consisting of some of my favorite things that will be sent to one lucky Bohemian Bisoux reader.
In order to be in the running to receive this surprise, you need to do 2 things:

1) Become a follower of Bohemian Bisoux through Google Friend Connect on Blogger or through Bloglovin' (a link is to the left, click 'follow')

2) Comment on this post & tell me about your dream fall/winter outfit. It can be anything from ball gowns to blue jeans, I want to hear it! You can also send me a Polyvore link if you're not one for words.
* If you live in a city that is not graced with these chilly seasons, get creative & dream up what you'd wear :)

I will select my favorite answer, & the winner will be announced November 1st.
From there I'll send your goodies!

If you have any questions, email me here

Inspired by: Stacks Girl

Currently I'm stuck in the library working on homework instead of doing something fun this Friday afternoon. I usually don't find much style inspiration among the stacks, but today I most definitely did. I saw a girl walk past wearing a mini skirt made entirely out of vintage doilies. I think it might've been a DIY... mad props to her if so. The base was crimson velvet, with various doilies of all shapes & sizes sewn on. I don't think I've seen anything so gorgeous & intricate on a library goer ever
I've been thinking about doilies since I saw her, so I went on Etsy to see what I could find.
I want to order the Cecilia Necklace ASAP from The Bungalow.
I'd wear it with a soft, neutral sweater sweater dress, pretty stockings & peep-toe pumps.

I know, I know I'm kind of obsessed with Etsy. But finding such unique & different things, + supporting independent artists makes my heart happy.

Halloween Lusting

17 days until Halloween... which means it's time to get my act together & find a costume! I'm not really into being the sexy_____ (fill in the blank) whatever for Halloween, I feel like it's overplayed. I've turned to Etsy for some inspiration, & here's my ideal, playful but grown-up, trick-or-treating outfit:

'Ivy Nymph' dress
This photo shown is of the back; the front is so pretty with an empire style waist.
Check out the Bohemian Goddess' store for info

I'm thinking that this headband wouldn't be a one-hit-wonder with me... I'd like to wear it all year round!

Yup, it's a bark clutch.

Gold disco heels because every forest nymph should be just a little bit of a diva
Check out Fashion ReRun for gorgeous vintage finds

An autumn leave capelet collar
Go see MyThunderStood for some gorgeous, eccentric pieces

& last but not least, some dramatic gold-carbon-green eye shadow (which is vegan, BTW) to make this look insanely fun.
Lighthouse Minerals on Etsy makes some truly fabulous makeup
